Melvin D. "Bee" Martin, 84, of King William, Va., passed away August 11, 2004. He is survived by his sister, Kitty Martin; a great-nephew, Christian Hoffman; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Mize; and special friends, Toni and Edward Lawrence. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., where services will be held 1 p.m. Friday. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
