ELLYSON, Virginia Lee Carmines "Sue," 68, of Quinton, Va., passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Harry Carmines. Sue retired from the IRS where she was a manager for over 20 years. She was a member of Providence United Methodist Church. Sue enjoyed arts and crafts as well as making ginger bread houses with her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Richard S. Ellyson; daughters, Elizabeth E. Isgett (Dubby), Cheryl L. Ellyson and Lee Ann Chisenhall (Dwane); brother, Robert Lee Carmines; grandchildren, Tyler and Haley Isgett, Will and Sam Shahinian, Quinn and Grace Chisenhall. The family will receive friends at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23231, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 26 at 11 a.m. at Providence United Methodist Church, 4001 New Kent Highway, Quinton, Va. 23141. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Providence United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 118, Quinton, Va. 23141.

Obituary
ELLYSON, Richard "Dick" Shirley, 78, of New Kent, passed away February 25, 2016. He was an accountant for Reynold's Metals, and was also an Army veteran. He was a member of Providence United Methodist Church, New Kent Ruritan Club, and Colonial Heights Senior Golf Association. He served for three terms on the New Kent Board of Supervisors, was the Interim County Treasurer and Interim County Administrator for New Kent, and was a member of the Richmond Regional Planning Commission. Dick was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Virginia "Sue" Ellyson; and his brother, George Allen Ellyson. He is survived by his children, Elizabeth E. Isgett (Dubby), Cheryl L. Ellyson, and Lee Ann Chisenhall (Dwane); grandchildren, Tyler and Haley Isgett, Will and Sam Shahinian and Quinn and Grace Chisenhall; and his sister, Mary Ellen Thompson (Charles). Visitation will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home Laburnum, Sunday, February 28, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held at Providence United Methodist Church in Quinton on Monday, February 29, 2016, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Providence United Methodist Church building fund.
