HICKS, Mary Merello, 87, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Alfred Lee Hicks. Mary enjoyed caring for her family and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, William "Billy" Hicks (Cheryl); two grandchildren, Travis Hicks (Sara) and Kelly Felts (Nolan); four great-grandchildren, Connor Hicks, Cameron, Abby and Evie Felts; and a lifelong girlfriend, Helen "Bo-Beep" Clark. She will be deeply missed. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231.
