Raymond A. Bowery, 85, of Lawrenceville, GA, went to be with our Lord on February 4, 2013. The funeral service was on Thursday, February 7th, at Norcross First United Methodist Church. A graveside service with military honors was held at Friday, February 8th, at the GA National Cemetery in Canton. Mr. Bowery was a U.S.
Army veteran who was a Staff Sergeant assigned to the Nuremberg War Tribunals. He was an Accountant for the
U.S. Navy and a life-long member of Norcross First United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Butler and two brothers, Charles "Buddy" Bowery and Cecil Bowery, he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jane Wade Bowery; daughters, Michele Wade and Stephanie Bowery; brother, Leon Bowery; and granddaughter, Logan Wade.
