Mr. DONALD AMOS WILSON, 78, of 16 Ninth Ave., Brunswick, died Wednesday, April 12, at Washington Hospital Center, Washington. He was the husband of Evelyn Garrott Wilson. Born Aug. 26, 1921 in Mountsville, Loudoun County, Va., he was a son of the late Richard Edmund and Daisy Hoffman Wilson.
He was a retired electrical inspector with Loudoun County government. He was a member of New York United Methodist Church, Brunswick, and Brunswick Lodge 191 AF&A Masons. He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason with the Chesapeake Consistory Valley of Baltimore Orient of Maryland, a member of Ali Ghan Temple Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, Cumberland, and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1582, Brunswick.
Surviving besides his wife are one son, David A. Wilson; one sister, Hazel Wilson Davis, Brunswick; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Bessie Wilson Melvin, Lucy Wilson Cornwell and Ione Wilson Gordon; and four brothers, Coytt Elkton Wilson, Stanley Edmund Wilson, William Hoffman Wilson and Carroll Woodrow Wilson.
Services were held at New York Hill United Methodist Church, Brunswick; interment was in Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick; arrangements were by the John T. Williams Funeral Home, Brunswick.
