Obituary
Frances Durham Foster, 80, of Lynchburg, formerly of Culpeper died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Summit Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lynchburg. She was born May 5, 1930 to the late Charles William and Edna Baldwin Durham.
Mrs. Foster graduated from Culpeper County High School and retired from the Postal Service after 27 years of service.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Durham and his wife, Juanita of Lynchburg, VA, one brother, William Durham and his wife, Bev of Fisher, IN, and one sister, Laura Frazier of Culpeper, VA.
Additional survivors include one granddaughter, Melissa Ferguson and her husband, Terry, two great granddaughters, Kylie and Ashton Ferguson, two step granddaughters, Vickie Gardner and Ronda Boothe and her husband, Larry, two step grandsons, James C. and Eddie Witt, six great step grandchildren, Jonathan Gardner and his wife, Nikki, Matthew Gardner, Daniel Gardner, Jessica Witt, Rebecca Witt and Tyler Novak, and one step great great grandchild, Faith Gardner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Foster, two half brothers, Charles Lee Durham and Joe Durham and one half sister, Elizabeth Prince.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Adam Meisberger officiating. Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is handling the arrangements.
