William Carrico, of Wellington died last Monday, Feb. 24, at the residence of his daughter, who lives at 1025 4th street orteast, Washington. The funeral services took place at Wellington where the remains were interred. Mr. Carrico was well known here and had many friends in this vicinity.

The original village of Wellington proper and site of the now extinct post office is where Balls Ford Road intersects with the Norfolk-Southern railway.
