Patricia Ferne Jayne Pfaff, 80, died in her home in Spring, TX. after an illness. She was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Bruce and Fern Richardson Jayne. Mrs. Pfaff retired as an accounting manager for Travelers Insurance Company. She was a former risident of Hemphill and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hemphill.

She is survived by her son Dennis Robert Pfaff and wife Sandy, two daughters Wendy Ann Pfaff and Laurie Maxine Chin and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Bruce Jayne and Fern Jayne Tallman, her husband Robert Windfield Pfaff, her son Richard Scott Pfaff, her brother Raymond Jayne and her sister Maxine Jayne.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, July 13, 2011, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, TX. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, July 14, 2011, in the First United Methodist Church in Hemphill. Burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery, Hwy 87S, Hemphill, TX.
