Warren H. Saxby, age 84, of Varina, passed away Friday, February 11, 2005. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma E. Saxby. He is survived by his devoted daughter and son-in-law, Marsha S. and Benjamin Williams; special friend, Gladys Weis; special caregiver, Bonnie Woods; two nieces and two nephews, many friends; and by his grand dog, Josie. Mr. Saxby was an Air Force veteran of WWII and retired from Sun Oil Co. (Sunoco). The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Laurel Hill United Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Henrico Volunteer Rescue Squad or to Laurel Hill United Methodist Church, where Mr. Saxby was a member.
