NOVEMBER 6 - Gussie White Bailey, 100, of Farmville, formerly of Drakes Branch, died Wednesday, November 5, 2003. She was born August 3, 1903 in Amelia County, a daughter of the late Ashley P. and Lucy Rowlett White. She was the widow of Earl P. Bailey, Sr. Mrs. Bailey had been a resident of Brookview Lodge and Holly Manor Nursing Home for the past six years. She was a lifelong member of Jetersville Christian Church. She is survived by her son, Earl, Jr.; her daughters, Kathleen Austin, Thelma Encinas, Fay Garnett and Anne Barksdale; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday in the Ash Camp Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions maybe made to Woodhaven Children's Home, 1405 Hathman Place, Columbia, MO 65201. Browning Funeral Home, Keysville, is in charge of arrangements.
