Thelma Pomfrey Biddle, age 84, of Highland Springs, was welcomed to her heavenly home Monday, October 21, 2002. She is survived by two sons, Elton Lee Biddle of Highland Springs and Michael S. Biddle Jr. and wife, Debbie of Mechanicsville; two daughters, Debbie B. Roberson and husband, Kenneth of Mechanicsville and Rene’ B. Spencer and husband, Kent of Aylett; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild; one sister, Laura McCormick; and a twin brother, Temple V. Pomfrey of New Kent. Remains rest at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and where services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2002. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pole Green Church of Christ, 8319 Lee-Davis Rd., Mechanicsville, Va. 23111.
