My fondest childhood memories are our summer trips to Providence Forge to visit Uncle Gus & Aunt Elsie! I was so thrilled that I could play softball, horseshoes, and run around in the woods with my cousins, Linda, Cathy & Chip! It seems like the best times of my life! I remember the wonderful fried fish dinners that Aunt Elsie used to cook. Of course, Uncle Gus caught the fish and he was always proud of his "catch". He would always give me, grandma & grandpa (Mable & Homer) some frozen fish to bring home to WV. I was always sad when we left there and our little vacation was over. I remember one time where I made Uncle Gus really mad...Linda & I were swimming in a little pool and I squirted Uncle Gus with the water hose! He made me get out of the pool but he didn't stay mad long! I thought it was sooooo funny but then I felt bad because he didn't laugh! Those were the good ole' days. I am saddened by his death, but I know that he is rejoicing with Aunt Elsie in Heaven. My thoughts & prayers are with my family there and I love each and everyone of you even though I don't see you often. My love to each of you!
