The Honorable Robert P. Beaver, retired judge of Hanover County, died September 16, 2005 at his residence. He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred P. Beaver, and is survived by three daughters,Debra B. Lauck and husband, John of Radiant, Virginia, Robin B. Morehead and husband, Charles, and Bobbi B. Powell and husband, Michael; five grandchildren, John R. and Christopher A. Lauck, Evan Paul Morehead and Stephanie R. and Robert M. Powell; brother, Paul E. Beaver Jr. and wife,Doris of New Kensington, Pa.; a nephew, David Paul Beaver and wife, Susan of Neptune, N.J. The family will receive friends at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, September 19. Entombment Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. Bob was a devoted husband, father, and Pop, who will be sadly missed.

Mildred Pomfrey Beaver of Mechanicsville, died May 21, 2004 at her residence. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, The Honorable Robert P. Beaver, Retired Judge; three daughters, Debra B. Lauck and husband, John of Radiant, Va., Robin B. Morehead and husband, Charles, and Bobbi B. Powell and husband, Michael; five grandchildren, John Robert and Christopher A. Lauck, Evan Paul Morehead, and Stephanie R. and Robert M. Powell. Millie was the first secretary and charter member of Reveille United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, May 24. Entombment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Millie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be sadly missed.
