Harold

TIMBERLAKE, Mr. James Harold, 86, of Lanexa, was born January 26, 1929 and passed away April 22, 2015. Harold retired from Camp Peary after 31 years of service. He was a loyal member of Liberty Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and worked tirelessly on many committees. Harold loved to hunt, fish and tend to his garden. He was a loving husband and father who leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Fannie Mae; his son, Harold Jr. (Diane); his daughter, Janet Gallaher (Larry); three grandchildren, Robert Timberlake, Josh Hazelwood and Summer Holt; two great-grandchildren, Justice and John Russell; and two stepgrandchildren, Justin and Laura, who would visit when they came to Virginia. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon to 2 p.m., at Liberty Baptist Church, Lanexa, Va., with a funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
