MARTIN Norma J. Martin, 72, of Lanexa, Va. died Saturday, October 6, 2001 at her residence. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Julian Martin; daughter, Wendy Martin; two sons, Julian "Butch" Martin Jr. and Leslie Martin and his wife, Angela; sister, Fannie Mae Timberlake, all of Lanexa; three grandchildren, Christopher Martin of Richmond, Ross Martin of Florida and Kimberly Martin of Lanexa. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Liberty Baptist Church, Lanexa, Va., with burial in church cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Vincent Funeral Home, West Point, Va.

Obituary
Julian E. Martin Sr., 76, of Lanexa, Va., died Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at home surrounded by family, loved ones and special friends. He was a Korean War Army veteran. Julian was a retired superintendent for Reynolds Metal Company. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma J. Martin; a granddaughter, Sabrina Martin; and his parents, Roy and Edith Martin. He is survived by a daughter, Wendy L. Martin of Lanexa; two sons, Julian E. "Butch" Martin Jr., Leslie Wayne Martin and his wife, Angie, all of Lanexa; two brothers and their wives, Edward and Barbara Martin of Lanexa, and Raymond and Ann Martin of Victoria; three grandchildren, Chris Martin, Ross Martin and Kimberly Martin; and many caring neighbors and friends. A funeral service will be held Friday 11 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, Lanexa, Va. Burial in church cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point, Va.
