My grandfather was born and raised in New Kent County,
Virginia on 9-16-91. He had, from what I remember, 5
brothers and three sisters. His parents, also born and
raised in New Kent, were Seaton Mansfield Cumber,born 1856 and Mary Francis Jones Cumber, born 1858.
I only remember one of my grandfather's siblings and his
name was Sam Cumber.
My Aunt Verna Cumber Clarke is about 80 and my only
surviving older Cumber relative. I will call her (New York)
and see what she remembers.
My yougest son, Christopher Robert Cumber(27),lives in
New Kent, in Quinton, on Continental Road. He is married
to Susan Haygood, who was raised in New Kent.
