“I'm looking for some info on Hethey Jordan above. He was the son of Pleasant Jordan and Mary Baker born abt 1820-22. That is all I have on him. I just found him (I think) in the 1860 census,
living with Polly Jordan, 70 (?who is this), and three young men Henry 18, John 10 & Joseph 7 (his sons?). If this is right I'm guessing his wife must have died... but I don't know who she is either! “ Cece

“Hethey was a daughter, not a son. She was born c. 1820 and was still alive in 1860 when she was enumerated with her mother Polly (Mary Baker) Jordan. Hethey, as far as we know, never married; and the 3 children listed with her in 1850 and 1860 were her illegitimate children, father (or fathers) unknown” Ann Avery Hunter
