Active member of the Quinton Homemaker's Club, Early Settlers Club, Providence Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher for 20 years, served on the Official Board, was President and Secretary of the Methodist Women's Society and Past President of the Richmond District of the Hermitage Guild.

He was active in Providence Methodist Church, where he was a Sunday school teacher, trustee and secretary-treasurer of the Memorial Association.
