LANEXA - Alice Virginia Darnell Weaver, 85, of Lanexa, Va., passed away Oct. 26, 2012. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Elwin Weaver; a sister, Doris Parnell; and a brother, Charles Darnell. Alice is survived by her brother, Thomas Darnell, and his wife, Carolyn; three nephews, Michael, David and Steven Darnell; a brother-in-law, Robert Bland Weaver and his family; and a dear friend, Frances Little and her husband, Stephen. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Liberty Baptist Church, 15810 Liberty Church Road, Lanexa, VA 23089, and the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
