Emma Lou Briggs ,79, of Quinton, Va. passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband Conrad Odell Briggs, her son Bobby Briggs, two sisters Ruby C. Pitts, Mary C. Hazelwood and a brother William A. Cecil. Emma is survived by a daughter, Dee Davis and her husband, David; three sons, William O. Briggs and his wife , Mary, Buddy Briggs and his wife, Sherry, and Bradley Briggs. She is also survived by three sisters Myrtle C. Sweeney, Bessie Hazelwood, Ola Mae Richardson; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.   A funeral service will be conducted 11am Friday, March 26, 2010 at The Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, Va. 23140.  The family will receive friends from 6-8pm tonight at the funeral home.
