PROVIDENCE FORGE - Frank Robert Taylor went to be with the Lord on Dec. 18, 2008.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Beulah Taylor; and his sisters, Margaret Martin and Jean Waltrip.
He is survived by his wife, Christine B. Taylor; and children, Renee Priddy and Ted, Elaine Odom, Anita Norton and Pete, Frankie Taylor, Elmer Lee Stewart, Terry Petke and Mark, Les Bourne and Stacey, Alex Bourne and Peggy; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A retired farmer, he was a member of the VA Army National Guard, Providence Forge Ruritan, New Kent County Planning Commission, VA Farm Bureau and a host of other agricultural and community service organizations.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Liberty Baptist Church, Lanexa, Va. Burial will follow in Rose Garden Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Vincent Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, Va.
Memorials contributions may be mailed to Hospice of Virginia, the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
