YORK - Dorothy Saxby Cooke, 92, a native of Portertown, Wis., and a Peninsula resident most of her life, died Wednesdy, Feb. 16.

Mrs. Cooke taught school in York County for eight years and was employed by First National Bank of Yorktown for 16 years. She retired in 1965 after 22 years at the Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown.

Survived by a sister, Grace S. Post of Williamsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Amory Funeral Home, Grafton. Funeral 11 a.m. Saturday at Yorkminster Presbyterian Church, Grafton, by the Rev. John D. Sadler. Burial in Church of Christ Cemetery, Newport News.
