Obituary
DAVIS, Helen Katherine, 80, of New Kent, Va., died Saturday, May 23, 2009. She retired from Chesapeake Corporation as a billing supervisor after 29 years of service. Her husband of 52 years, Whitfield Davis preceded her in death. She is survived by three sons and their wives, John and Lee Davis of New Kent, Wayne and Cindy Davis of New Kent, and Jeff Davis of Saluda; six grandchildren, Ryan Davis and his wife, Rebekah, Matt Davis, Stephen Davis, Hunter Davis, Casey Davis and Jeannette Davis; a sister-in-law, Sallie Kordulak; a niece, Mary Ann Fetterolf; special friends, John and Ethel Burton; and the caregivers who offered loving care and support. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. at Vincent Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 417 11th Street, West Point, Va. Burial will follow in Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Tabernacle Memorial Association, P.O.
