Elma Waddill Adams Upp, 84, of Glen Allen, formerly of New Kent, died August 3, 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard McClure Upp; and three brothers, George W. Adams, Lewis B. Adams Jr. and William T. Adams; and a sister, Elizabeth A. Hodge. Survivors include her brother, Edward Ladd Adams of Charles City; and two sisters, Louise A. Walls of Providence Forge and Ann A. Evelyn of Quinton; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at Bethany Presbyterian Church in Charles City County at 11 a.m.
