Roger G. Bingley, 89, of Providence Forge, Va., passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2005. He was a retired shop foreman with a Central Construction Company. Mr. Bingley was a member of Providence Forge Ruritans. He was a former member of the Providence Forge Rescue Squad and the Fire Department. His son, Burhl Briggs preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kate H. Bingley; two daughters, Christine B. Taylor of New Kent, Barbara B. Schreiber of Richmond; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday 2 to 4 p.m. at the Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point, Va. There will be a memorial service at 4 p.m. after the visitation.
