At a meeeting of the Commissioners to restore the Henrico records destroyed by the enemy——Held Aug. 5, 1784. Thomas Jordone appeared before the commissioner and gave them to understand that his brother, Benjamin Jordone had by deed of gift given him two negroes, namely Amey and William——Mary Jordone affirmed, being a Quaker, that this was so and the deed was certified. page 104
