HOBBS JR, JOHN JAMES, 78, passed away on September 23, 2011 after a long bout with cancer. He was the son of the late Anna Myers and John James Hobbs, Sr. of Norfolk, Virginia and the adopted son of the late Mary and Paul A. Redmon. He is survived by his wife C. J. Hobbs of Temple, Georgia and his sister-in-law, Margie Souder and Mother-in-law, Verna Hughes of Rome, Georgia. He is also survived by his first wife Faye Hobbs and their children; Jackie, Kevin and Eric. He has two grandsons, Alec 20 and James 17, both of Orlando, Florida. He is also survived by C. J.'s daughter, Kim Fisher and her children, Kristina 22, Katelynn 19, Nathan 13, Kristian 11, Kane 9 and Dylan 7. Most importantly he leaves behind a legacy of intellect, humor and kindness to friends, family and those lucky enough to have known him. A loving prankster to the very end, he will always be remembered. In lieu of a memorial, there will be a celebration of his life planned for Spring of 2012 in Orlando. Refer to
