Obituary
WHITLOW, Rose M., 67, of Aylett, passed away peacefully March 9, 2014. She was a retiree from Richmond Times-Dispatch after 42 years of service. Her life was based around her children, grandchildren and her pomeranian, Dusty. She loved her home and the trips to the Outer Banks. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Frank H. Whitlow; and her mother and father, Elizabeth and Charlie Pate. She is survived by her sister, Anne (John); and her three children, Rhonda, Ken (Becky), Lola (Robbie); grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan, Jacob, Tommy, Dani, Chase. The family will receive friends for a memorial service at B.W. White Funeral Home, Aylett Chapel, 7837 Richmond Tappahannock Hwy., Aylett, Va. 23009. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014.

WHITLOW, Frank Hamilton, 70, of Aylett, went home to be with his heavenly Father after a courageous battle with Leukemia on October 25, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison Lee Whitlow and Nellie Richards. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Rose Via Whitlow of Aylett; children, Neal (Kim) Whitlow, Eric W. (Janet) Whitlow, Scott F. Whitlow, Tracy R. (Danielle) Whitlow, Evelyn V. Whitlow, Keith H. (Jennie) Whitlow, Deborah W. (Jonathon) Lumpkin; stepchildren, Rhonda M. Atkinson, Kenneth W. (Rebecca) Via, Lola Via; 13 grandchildren; brothers, Oscar Carle, Harrison L. Whitlow Jr., and Robert Morris; extended family of nieces and nephews; and also by his faithful friend, Dusty. Frank served in the U.S. Navy, where he left to service Henrico County as a professional firefighter. Frank then went on to finish his life as a district manager for the Richmond Times-Dispatch, with 29 years of service. In lieu of flowers, we ask as a family that memorial contributions be made to the VCU Massey Cancer Center, Richmond, Va., in honor of Frank H. Whitlow. A celebration of Frank's life will be held at B.W. White Funeral Home for family, friends and neighbors on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 6 p.m. at the Aylett Chapel, 7837 Richmond-Tappahannock Hwy., Aylett, Va. 23009.
