Margie was age 63, daughter of Herbert Washington & Ethel Pearl Hogg Kellum.
She married Harold Harmon Hockaday in 1951 in Pasquotank Co., NC.
They had one known Child: Thomas Wayne Hockaday, whom is buried beside his Mother.

Betty Pate Hockaday, 67, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at her residence. She was born December 12, 1947 in Hawesville to the late Hilary and Christina Brandle Pate. She was a member of Hancock County Christian Church and loved home décor, flowers and most of all she loved her Lord. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold in 1991 and her siblings Lena Mae Pate Reed, Henry Pate, Fred Pate, Margie Paulson and Lois Pate.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Morris of Lewisport and Peggy (Tim) Hodskins of Covington, Tennessee; grandchildren, Dustin (Natalie) Morris of Owensboro, Jonathan Morris of Owensboro, Rusty (Lindsey) Hodskins of Mobile, Alabama, and Daniel (Erica) Hodskins of Brighton, Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Aiden and Averi Morris, Jack and Emma Morris, Jeremiah, Ella and Jayden Hodskins and Scarlett Hodskins; and her sister, Linda (Buddy) Newton of Hawesville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Taylor-Wood Funeral Home in Lewisport. Visitation will be Monday, October 5, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and after 9:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. Betty's funeral service will be Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Roger Jarboe officiating. Burial will follow in Lewisport Cemetery.
