Mrs. W. H. Norfolk
Mrs. Laura Allen Norfolk, wife of W. H. Norfolk of Claybank, died last Friday noon in Newport News following a long illness. Mrs. Norfolk was a long time resident of Gloucester and had been living in Newport News the past 2 years with her daughter. She is survived by her husband, W. H. Norfolk; three daughters, Mrs. R. V. Hogge, Mrs. W. S. Prince, and Mrs. C.S. Sawyer, all of Newport News; a son, W. E. Norfolk of Gloucester County and a grandson, Walter Emory Norfolk. She is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. G. W. Bingley of New Kent, Mrs. Cleveland Blake of Middlesex, Mrs. Isaacs Jacobs of Richmond and Mrs. A. P. Howlett of Gloucester; Also five brothers, J. A. Gunn, S. V. Gunn, B. F. Gunn, G.A. Gunn of Gloucester, and Thomas Gunn of Richmond. Funeral services were held Sunday at Newport News with interment in Greenlawn Cemetery.
