On Sunday, November 13, 2016, John Eugene (Jack) Jordan, of Millsboro, Delaware formerly of Anne Arundel and Prince George's Counties, passed away due to heart failure. John Jordan was the proud owner and trainer of John Jordan Racing and was also the owner of Pike Woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton E. Jordan and Margaret T. (Fisher) Jordan. He is survived by his fiancée, Norma Rodney; his daughters, Elaine S. (Brian) Despeaux of Mesa, Arizona and Jill C. (Jim Clifford) Jordan of Annapolis, Maryland; four grandchildren, Victoria M. Paddy, Elizabeth P. Paddy, Alexandra G. Paddy and Brooklyn R. Despeaux, all of Mesa, Arizona. He is also survived by four brothers and one sister, Father Milton E. Jordan, Raymond T. (Babette) Jordan, William (Donna) Jordan, Margaret M. (Bill) Riley, and Dennis M Jordan; many other relatives and friends. All are invited to call at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 9473 Annapolis Rd., Lanham, MD 20706 on Thursday, November 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday, November 18 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., immediately followed by a Funeral Mass. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Rd., Brentwood, MD on Friday, November 18 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association or the American Kidney Foundation.
