Joan Caton Mayhugh, age 66, of Nokesville, Virginia died Monday, August 4, 2008 at Prince William Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Lee Caton; one son, Gordon F. Mayhugh III and one brother, Charles Caton.

Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, Gordon Mayhugh; two children, Michael Mayhugh and wife, Christine, of Nokesville, Virginia and Renee Silvestain and husband, Scott, of Nokesville, Virginia; her mother, Marion Ennis Caton, of Nokesville, Virginia; three sisters, Betty Bolt, of Haymarket, Virginia, Diane Goode, of Nokesville, Virginia and Beverly Ballinger, of Herndon, Virginia; two brothers, Donald Caton and Bill Caton, both of South Carolina and five grandchildren, Michael, Jimmy, Kaitlyn, Gabriella and Eric.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2008 with the Rev.
