Fisher Creel

Culpeper - A funeral for Fisher Lee Creel of Culpeper will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Clore Funeral Home Chapel here, the Rev. Richard Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Mr. Creel, 71, died Thursday at his residence after a sudden heart attack. A native of Culpeper, he was a retired Town of Culpeper employee.

His parents were the late Benjamin Franklin Creel and Emma Jane Fincham Creel.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Leake Creel; five daughters, Mrs. Emma Lee Peyton, Mrs. Frances Johnson, and Mrs. Peggy Butler, all of Culpeper, Mrs. Gayle F. Hawkins of Rixeyville and Mrs. Hazel M. Southard of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sons, James R. Creel of Littlestown, Pa. and Milton F. Creel of Culpeper; 28 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
