B. Owen Hoffman, 77, of Reva, died June 11, 2001, at Culpeper Regional Hospital.

Born May 16, 1924, in Youngstown, Ohio, he was a son of the late Berkley Hoffman and Emma Freida Owens.

A truck driver, he was retired from Quarles Oil Co. He served in the Army during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Lee Hoffman, and a brother, Cecil Hoffman.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Hoffman Jr. of Spotsylvania and Bobby Hoffman of Reva; two daughters, Carolyn Harper of Front Royal and Peggy Hoffman of Orange; six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will accept visitors from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at Moser Funeral Home.

The Rev. Daniel Clegg will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday, June 15, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Stonewall Memory Gardens in Manassas
