Emory Brice Wood, 63, of Broad Run, Virginia died April 17, 2008. Woody, as his friends and family affectionately knew him, was the loving husband of Rosia, Father of Aaron and Caleb, Father-in-law of Kristy and Shannon, and adoring grandfather of Claire. He also leaves behind his brothers Robert and Roy, and their wives Carol and Chris, respectively. Additionally, he was very close to Rosia's family, especially his mother-in-law and father-in-law.
Woody was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia to Vernon and Irene Wood, now deceased.
For 32 years he owned and successfully operated Barter Post Antiques, established in Gainseville, Virginia, by his father in the 1940s. Woody moved the store to Culpeper, Virginia, 1n 1994.
Woody was a Master Mason of the Haymarket Lodge No. 313, Haymarket, Virginia. Recently, he had realized a life-long ambition by becoming a recreational pilot. He was a member of the "USUA Club 1" in Warrenton, Virginia. Accomplishing this goal made him incredibly happy.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 3pm until the time of service at 4pm at Moser Funeral Home, Inc., Warrenton, VA.
