Mrs Philip Hyde

HYDE, Mickey, age 75, of Broad Run, Va., died peacefully on December 28, 2007. "Mickey," as she was known to all, was the former Eleanor L. Mayhugh of Greenwich, Va. She is survived by J. Philip Hyde Jr., her husband of 55 years. Mr. Hyde is a retired former owner of Carr & Hyde Inc., a general insurance agency in Warrenton, Va. Surviving family members are a son and daughter-in-law, Philip Lynn and Wendy Hyde, and twin granddaughters, Victoria Lynn and Holly Lynn Hyde, all of New Baltimore, Va. She is also survived by two brothers, Carroll M. Mayhugh and his wife, Helen White Mayhugh, and George M. Mayhugh and his wife, Jeanne Hale Mayhugh, all of Warrenton, Va. Mrs. Hyde was a longtime resident of Leesburg, Va. and a member of the Leesburg Garden Club. She is preceded in death by an infant son, and her parents, George L. Mayhugh and Margaret Burgess Mayhugh. The family will receive visitors at Moser's Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Avenue, Warrenton, Va., on Wednesday, January 2, 2007, from 7 to 9 p.m. Additional visitors will be received at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 3, and funeral services begin at 11 a.m. Graveside service is at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, Va., immediately following the funeral. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Culpeper Baptist Retirement Community, P.O. Box 191, Culpeper, Va. 22701; or to New Baltimore Volunteer Fire and Rescue Co., P.O. Box 310, Broad Run, Va. 20137.
