David Thomas ENGLAND, 78, died at 4:15 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 1943 at hishome in Midway.He was born July 2, 1865, in Wellsburg, W. Va., a son of the late Alexanderand Martha FLEMING ENGLAND.Mr. ENGLAND had lived in Washington county for 60 years and farmed the J.M. WALLACE farm near Midway until seven years ago when he retired and movedinto Midway. He was a member of the Valley Presbyterian church of Imperial.He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillian ENGLAND; four daughters: Mrs.Ewing MCMICHAEL of Tyre, Mrs. Charles PORTER of Rochester, Mrs. Herman ENGELof R. D. 3, McDonald, and Mrs. Hoyt HALL of Imperial; two sons, HarryENGLAND of R.D. 1, Canonsburg, and Frank F. ENGLAND of Midway; 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the hate home Tuesday afternoon in charge ofthe Rev. Clarence E. DAVISON, pastor of the Valley Presbyterian church,Imperial. Burial was in Robinson's run.
