Thelma Elizabeth Hartley, age 88, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Caton Merchant House in Manassas, VA.

She was born on July 7, 1925 in Nokesville, Virginia to the late Mason E. and Viola (Whitmer) Gough.

She attended Grace United Methodist Church and retired after 45 years from the American Red Cross, National Headquarters.

She is predeceased by her parents, her loving husband Robert A. Hartley and her siblings: Elsie House, Lucille Warner and Stewart Gough.

Survivors include her three sisters: Dorothy Crummitt, Senia Merchant and Ruth Daffan; brother: Mason Gough, Jr. and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA with Rev. Rudy Tucker officiating. Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens.
