The funeral of W. H. House was held at the home in Chelan Wash., Aug. 21, 1916. Deceased was born in Keokuk Co., Iowa. When 23 years of age was married to Miss Ida D. Clubb on the 11th day of October. Two sons were born to them, Harry Clayton and Leo William. In the year 1900 they moved to Wash., settling on the Methow, and four years later they moved to Chelan where they have since resided and have made many friends. Deceased leaves besides wife and sons, two sisters, Mrs. Kate Parrish of Iowa and Mrs. Chas. Sheets of Indianapolis, Indiana, the only members of his own family left to mourn his loss, his mother having passed away last summer, at which time he was present at her home in Sigourney, Iowa.
