Obituary
Margaret Haley Foster Margaret Haley Foster, of Nokesville, Va., passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Margaret was born in Fauquier County to the late Joseph Thomas and Maude Haley. She married D. Clark Foster on June 25, 1947 who preceded her in death and they were happily married for 49 and a half years. Margaret was a nurse at Fauquier Hospital, a private duty nurse and volunteered at Prince William Hospital for over 30 years. She served in many capacities at Manassas Assembly of God over the years including teaching and singing in the choir. She then joined with Dr. Mark Smith in starting The Bridge Community Church in Warrenton. She also enjoyed a Bible Study at Greenwich Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed watching her flowers flourish, was a wonderful cook, and her canned vegetables and fruits were pretty awesome. She also enjoyed getting together with her nieces for a monthly meal and she had many friends that she loved dearly. Margaret was gracious and kind and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She leaves behind her legacy of four children, Rev. Philip Foster and wife Chris of Pasadena, Md., Claudia Barnish and husband Rick, Kenneth Foster and wife Diane and Tommy Foster and wife Terri all of Nokesville, Va.; grandchildren, Nathan Foster and wife Jennifer, Joy Curtin and husband Randy, Megan Case and husband Steve all of Pasadena, Md.; Beth Dolly and husband Derek, Ruth Barnish, Clark and Silas Foster all of Nokesville, Va., Julie Boice and husband Steve of Springfield, Mo., Benjamin Foster and wife Caroline of Warrenton, Va., and great grandchildren, Joel, Lily and Claire Foster, Matthew, Emily and Joshua Curtin all of Pasadena, Md. and Jackson, Jude and Allison Foster all of Warrenton, Virginia.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Manassas Assembly of God, 11500 New Life Way, Bristow, Va. where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Interment will follow at Greenwich Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
