THEY WEDDED IN JUNE

HAPPY HEARTS PLIGHT THEIR VOWS AND NOW BEAT AS ONE

At 7 o’clock yesterday evening Broadstreet Methodist church was filled with relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. T.F. Minor to witness the wedding of their only daughter, Miss Mollie Elaine Minor to Mr. Charles Buxton Hobbs, a well-known lawyer of New York city. The floral decorations were arranged with exquisite tastes, the entire chancel being gracefully banked with ferns, plants and flowers. The bride-a young lady of rare accomplishments-was gowned in a costume of cream satin, trimmed with antique lace, and the veil of white tulle was caught up by a diamond crescent, the gift of the groom. Beautiful Miss Annis Howard was maid of honor, and was attired in white silk organdie, trimmed with white satin ribbon.

Mr. Richard S. Storrs of Orange, N.J, as best man, and the following-named gentlemen served as ushers: Lucius F. Robinson of Hartford, Conn., John McHenry of Baltimore, Md., Jackson Wallace of New York, Dr. George Lumsden of the United States Navy, John Chamblin and Fairlie Cook of this city, Frank Wellford Minor and Robert Buxton Minor, brothers of the bride.

Professor Reinhardt presided at the organ, and discoursed excellent music before the arrival of the bridal party. Rev. Dr. Tudor officiated, and was deeply impressive in conducting the ceremony.

Mrs. Minor was dressed in pale silver gray brocade. Mrs. Edward H. Hobbs, mother of the groom, was attired in pale green brocade, trimmed with satin duchesse; pearl ornaments.

After the marriage, a reception was given at the residence of the bride’s parents, No. 3 west Grace Street to the bridal party and a few intimate friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Hobbs left on the Chesapeake and Ohio train at 10 P.M. for an extended trip, going to Manitou, and probably to San Francisco. Their return route will be via Chicago and the World’s Exposition, thence via the lakes and Niagara Falls, to Brooklyn, where they will reside. The many costly and beautiful presents received show how highly Miss Minor is held in the esteem of her friends.
