Bernie Jones, age 79, of Locust Grove, former 40 year resident of Fairfax died at home on November 8, 2017.
He was a retired HVAC foreman with GSA and former member of Jerusalem Baptist and Clifton Acacia Lodge #16 AF & AM. More recently, he was a member of Warrenton Baptist Church and Mt. Carmel Lodge #133 AF & AM.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Joan Ann Jones; children, Steven B. Jones, Katherine A. Ellis, Lisa M. Smith and eight grandchildren; Kelly, Steven, Stephanie, Lacey, Jacob, Joshua, Savanna, Bobby with a great-grandchild on the way.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 14 from 6-8 PM at Moser Funeral Home and on Wednesday Nov. 15 from 10- 11 at Warrenton Baptist Church followed by the funeral service at 11 AM. A reception will follow at the church prior to the interment Fairfax City Cemetery.
