September 15, 1846, Hendricks County, Indiana, Sophia Shanafelt married Carey Reagan who died in 1877 and is buried at Fairfield Friends Cemetery. She was mother to Zachary Taylor Reagan, John W. Reagan and Amos W. Reagan. Sophia's son Zachary married Ada Johnson, son John married Ella King and son Amos married Marie Clara Burnhill; a baby daughter was lost at birth. 35
