Helen Lucile Brown, age 90, of Cicero, IN died September 14, 2015 at Harbour Manor Health and Living at Noblesville, IN.

She was born July 2, 1925 at Elwood, IN to Clarence and Hazel (Harting) House.

Helen was a graduate of Elwood High School with the Class of 1944.

She had worked for a few years at Firestone Industrial Rubber Products Company at Noblesville and later sold Avon Products while enjoying her role as homemaker and mom. Before entering Harbour Manor, Helen was an active member of Omega Christian Church. She also loved working in her flower garden, reading and crocheting.

She married Luther Vernon Brown December 24, 1946. He preceded her in death October 7, 1986. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter: Connie Louise Brown, a son: Jack Lee Brown, sister: Jane Ann Achenbach, and brothers: Paul Allen House and Ronnie Lee House.

Surviving her is a daughter: Teresa Ann Ratzman of Cicero, IN, sons: Rev. Neal Eugene Brown of Lapel, IN and James Allen Brown of Cicero, IN, grandchildren: Chris, Kevin, Kirby, Brodie, Rachel and Megan Brown and Tiffany Depinet, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
