Wife of Retired Minister Dies

Ridgeway, Mo. – Mrs. Emma A. Mathes, 78, wife of the Rev. Preston Mathes, retired minister of Ridgeway, died yesterday at her home here. Services will be at 4 tomorrow at the Ridgeway Methodist Church. The Rev. Cash Wyble will officate and burial will be Saturday in the Wichita Park Cemetery, Wichita, Kan.

Surviving, besides her husband, is a daughter, Mrs. Emma Castle, Albuquerque, N.M.; four brothers, Homer Allen, Harlan, Iowa; Joe Allen, Hamilton, Mo.; McKinley Allen, Kansas City, and Fred Allen of Auxvasse, Mo., and three sisters, Mrs. Lula Whipple, Sharpsburg, Iowa; Mrs. Minnie Schwarb, Kansas City, and Mrs. Margaret ____ of Ridgeway.
