MOORESVILLE TIMES, Sep 10, 1915

Mrs. Christine Keller, aged eighty years, 8 months, 23 days, widow of the late Frederick Keller, died on Monday afternoon about 2:30, after only a week's sickness, at the home of her youngest daughter, Mrs. Lafe Shepard, with whom she had made her home since the death of her husband seven years ago.

She had been a life long member of the Friends church and loved her church and attended as long as her health permitted.

Funeral services were conducted at the church Wednesday afternoon by Rev. Thomas C. Brown, of Plainfield.

Mrs. Keller leaves five sons, George, Fritz, Charles, Lewis and Oliver all of this place, and two daughters, Mrs. Elmer [Susan] Stanley of Plainfield, Mrs. Lafe [Sarah] Shepard, this place, and an adopted daughter, Mrs. Sylvester [Salome - Fredrick's daughter with first wife, Eunice Bray] Thompson, who lives northeast of town.

Six grandsons, Roy, Fred, Walter, Vance and Howard Keller and Verl Stanley, acted as pall bearers, and six grand daughters, Mrs. Chester Harvey, Mrs. Hal Kitchen, Misses Myrtle, Norris and Jessie Keller and Mrs. Elza Dillon carried the beautiful flowers which silently testified of the love and esteem of relatives and friends. Interment was made in the Mooresville cemetery.

Among those from out of town who attended were four nephews, Robert, Harvey, Jacob and Daniel Shriner of Charleston, Ills., Mrs. Minnie Elliott, and Mrs. Eunice Richardson of Indianapolis.
