Daughter of Roy A. and Edna G. (Brown) Robbins. Sister of Alice and Robert.

Phyllis was a graduate of Monrovia High School and Indiana University; she retired from Indiana Health Careers.

Phyllis is survived by her sons, Kurt D. and Marc A. Grindstaff; two grandsons; one great-grandson; and brother, Robert Robbins.

Phyllis' husband, Howard D. Grindstaff, preceded her in death.
