Parron-Winn, Dorothy Dorothy Parron-Winn of Richmond, became an angel on November 23, 2002. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred W. (Winkey) Winn Sr. She is survived by two children, Alfred W. Winn Jr. of Houston, Texas, and Elizabeth P. Winn of Glen Allen; a sister, Odell P. Thurston of Varina; three grandchildren, Dixie L. Vermillion, John G. Winn and Penny K. Dunn; six great-grandchildren, Jennifer S. Bowen, John R. Bowyer, Karen A. Hibbard, Gage Baron, Fox J. Dunn and Jacy R. Dunn; and one great-great-grandson, Gabriel I. Bowen. Her remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home’s Staples Mill Chapel, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., where the family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News, Va.
