Richard Earl Boykin
Richard Earl Boykin, 17, of Lanexa, Va., died suddenly Friday, December 19, 2003 in an automobile accident. He was a student at New Kent High School, where he enjoyed being on the football team. Richard was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Hazelwood; and uncles, Kenny and Tony Hazelwood. He is survived by his mother, Robin Boykin of Lanexa; father, Ralph Boykin of Salem, Alabama; maternal grandmother, Josephine Hazelwood of Lanexa; paternal grandparents, Roger and Ann White of Arkansas; aunt, Kathy Hiles; and uncle, Will Adams, both of Lanexa; cousins, Rebecca Anderton and Jessica Adams; dear loved ones of the family, Walter Lee Fary and Tim Timberlake and other family members and many friends. A funeral service will be held Monday 2 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, Lanexa, Va. Burial in church cemetery. The family will receive friends today 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Vincent Funeral Home, West Point, Va.
