Pleasant Jordan was jailed for a debt ags the estate of Theodorick Carter dec'd. Robert Bradly, administrator of the estate, sued saying bail wasn't paid. John Jordan, brother of Pleasant, said he paid a Special Bail a at the last court.
Joseph Childreys gave a deposition saying that he saw John Jordan at the clerk's table at the court and that he paid the bail. 4 Oct 1817
The case was sent back to a lower court for judgement. 6 Oct. 1817
